2009.216.1.1Description
A panoramic photograph of the Pasadena Police Department, Photo News Service, ca. 1920s. The thirty-six men, all but two, who are wearing suits, in uniform, are posed with the first row seated and the other two standing near a structure assumed to be the police station. The man in the front row center, in white shoes, is presumed to be the chief, while the men flanking him and having similar black collars, are likely deputies. On the reverse is a simple pencil inscription "PASADENA POLICE DEPT." With some major creases, curvature of the paper and some soiling and stains, the overall condition is fair.
