Panoramic photograph of the Altadena, California area, ca. 1910. The image, which was colored, is taken from a higher elevation with tall trees in the foreground and looks across the descending plain below the San Gabriel Mountains which tower over the scen in the background. Portions of larger buildings, probably churches, hotels, and the like, are most visible, as are some houses and farm buildings, while much of the landscape is open or contains farmland and orchards. There are also dark clouds in the sky and some snow at the peaks of mountains. The only identification is a pencil inscription on the reverse: "Altadena, Cala." With a major crease about 1/3 over from the left, a puncture at the far left, some foxing at the upper left, asome stains and soiling, the condition is fair.
