2007.331.1.1Description
Panoramic view of a parade, downtown Los Angeles, ca. 1901. The image, taken from an upper story of a commercial building, shows floats, marchers in formation, and other participants in the center of a broad street. Lining the thoroughfare are throngs of people, with many others looking from building windows or from roofs. There are many American flags, Chinese-style lanterns, and red, white, and blue bunting decorating buildings, floats, and wires across the street, but no identification as to the event, date, or specific location. With some creases, edge bumping, and light soiling, the overall condition is good.
