Description

Color: Black; Gold An executive Parker Duofold pencil, 1928. The artifact has a gold-colored tip, cap, and ring attached to the cap, while the barrel is black. On a portion of the cap, the company name, descriptor "gold filled" and notation that the patent is pending are etched. The cap has four decorative bands and the inscription is between two of these. The barrel unscrews from the rest of the pencil with the cap joined to a shaft. At the end of this shaft is a spring-loaded mechanism for increasing the length of the pencil, though lead sticks are not in the item. Aside from surface scratches, the artifact is in good condition.
