Description
Part of La Casa Nueva under construction, ca. 1924. The view is taken from near the Workman House and shows the pitched roof of a gazebo in the foreground. Behind this is a portion of the in-progress east section of the Mission Walkway. To the left is the northeast corner of La Casa Nueva with the Master Bedroom balcony in early construction and window and door openings and the plywood sheathed roof of note. In the distance are a farm house, barns, and the outline of the San Gabriel Mountains. As this print was made from the original negative, it is mint.
