Description

A real photo postcard of part of the Los Angeles oil field, July 1909. The image taken from an intersection shows several wells amonst some large trees. A horse-drawn vehicle is turning from one street to the other. The message, from one Englishman to another, notes that the writer and photographer was working for Union Oil Company in the auditing department and lived on Bunker Hill Avenue near the Los Angeles oil field. The overall condition is good.
