"Partial Report of Work of the Agricultural Experiment Stations of the University of California, for the Years 1895-96; 1896-97," (Berkeley: University Press,) March 1898. The report covers the activities of the several stations throughout the state with much on testing of soils, analysis of water, the improvement and fertilization of land, work with specific crops, reporting on plant diseases, miscelleaneous reports, and others. There are sections of work conducted at the Southern California station at Chino, as well as the Forestry station at Santa Monica and there are three photos from the former and one from the latter. As an ex-library book with a library binding, having bumped corners, soiling, scratches and abrasions, but clean pages, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
