Description

PEDRO, EULALIA AND FRANCES DELGADO AT DELGADO HOME Color: Black; White A black and white reproduction photograph of Pedro, Eulalia, and Frances Delgado at the Delgado home, ca. 1927. The three are at the front of the home with Pedro Delgado, brother-in-law of Eulalia, standing at the center next to a palm tree. He wears a white shirt, dark trousers, and light-colored hat and holds a baseball bat in his right hand. On the porch, wearing a long white dress is Eulalia Delgado, an employee of the Temple family, while behind her, inshadow, is her daughter Frances. Much of the front elevation of the building is visible, including the wooden porch roof and row of tiles at the top of the structure's roof. There appears to be a bird cage or some other object hanging from the porch and a wooden ladder rests against the wall at far right. Around Pedro Delgado are shrubs and bushes as part of a garden, as well as another palm tree at left. In mint condition, the artifact has no wear or damage. Copy of negatives by Paul Spitzzeri. Number-Units: 1
