Description

PERRY WORDEN TO FLORENCE BIGELOW, 23 JUNE 1926. Letter: A one-page typed letter, without envelope, from Perry Worden to Frances Bigelow, principal of Walnut Hill School, Natick, Massachusetts, 23 June 1926. This is a copy sent to Walter P. Temple, Sr. The letter was a follow-up to Worden's visit a few weeks prior in relation to the application of Agnes Temple for attendance at the school. Worden noted that the Temples were leaving for the East Coast (the trip to England previously discussed in earlier letters in this accession was canceled) in a few days and visiting the school and Wellesley College. Agnes decided to remain at Dominican Convent, where she had just completed the last school year. The letter is in poor condition with folds, tears, dog-eared corners, creases, stains, and much discoloration. The word "Copy" written in blue ink at the top left.
