Description

PERRY WORDEN TO THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, 13 DECEMBER 1929 Letter: A one-page typed letter with written comment (a) and envelope, with written comment on the back, (b) from Perry Worden to Thomas W. Temple II, 13 December 1929. The letter opened with Worden's complaint of his treatment at the Agnes Temple wedding, some mention of the Temple book, criticisms of recent historical articles, and a closing invitation to Thomas to attend a lunch with Worden. A handwritten note told Thomas to show the letter to his father. The message at the back of the envelope asked Thomas if he had an article, "Romance of the Ranchos" and, if not, Worden would send it. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The letter is in good condition with folds and some discoloration. The envelope is in poor condition with the opening tear, stains on the bottom edge and discoloration. None
