PERRY WORDEN TO THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, 13 SEPTEMBER 1934 Letter: A one-page typed letter (a) with envelope (b) from Perry Worden to Thomas W. Temple II, 13 September 1934. The letter concerned Worden not receiving a reply to his March invitation to dinner (96.35.69) and acknowledging Thomas' invitation to attend the San Gabriel Fiesta (Temple and his girlfriend, later wife, Gabriela Quiroz, hosted the first of 38 pioneer receptions at the fiesta in 1934.) Worden sent his regrets. At the end is a brief mention that the Temple book would someday be completed. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The letter is in fair condition with folds, some creases, and discoloration, most of it at top left and center. The envelope is in poor condition with many creases, some tears, and discoloration.
