Description

PERRY WORDEN TO THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, 3 FEBRUARY 1929 Letter and envelope: A six-page typed letter from Perry Worden to Thomas W. Temple II, 3 February 1929. The letter concerned Worden's fear of not completing the Temple book because of a lack of financial compensation and future assistance from Walter P. Temple, Sr. Worden questioned the desire of the family to see the book done, and insisted that its completion would right many wrongs on the Workman and Temple family's reputation. He claimed he was owed well over $100 for his 1926 trip to New England and implored Thomas to support his effort to finish the book. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The letter is in good condition with folds and discoloration. The envelope is in extremely poor condition with its opening tear, major crease across the piece, discoloration, and many pest holes throughout. None
