Description

PERRY WORDEN TO THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, 8 OCTOBER 1927 Letter: A one-page typed letter, no envelope, from Perry Worden to Thomas W. Temple II, 8 October 1927. Worden wrote that he was sending carbon copies of letters (probably those the Bancrofts had given the Temples of nineteenth century family correspondence) to Thomas. Worden warned Thomas to let no copies be made, in order to reserve publication for the book. Reference was also made to an invitation to Santa Clara to Thomas to deposit unnamed Temple material at the archives there. Worden, mentioning Walter Temple's agreement, warned against this and argued that the family keep its material. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. In poor condition with many creases, tears and pest holes with discoloration. None
