Description

PERRY WORDEN TO THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, POSTMARKED 14 APRIL 1926 Letter and envelope: A two-page typed letter (a), one-page typed article (b), and envelope (c) from Perry Worden to Thomas Temple, postmarked 14 April 1926. In contrast to 96.35.41 and .42, which talked about sending the Temple boys to England to school, this letter discussed schools in New England and Worden's proposed trip there within two weeks to arrange entrance for the boys. The article, which Thomas had requested for some unknown school purpose, was on John Griffin Mott, a Los Angeles lawyer and son of a contemporary of F. P. F. Temple. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The article and letter are in good condition with folds and some discoloration. The envelope is in poor condition with much discoloration, some stains, creases, and a pest-eaten hole. None
