Letter and envelope: A two-paragraph handwritten letter (a) ink, with envelope (b) from Perry Worden to Thomas W. Temple II, postmarked 19 December 1927. Referring to the Jackson Graves book, discussed in 96.35.49, Worden urged Thomas to order the book and refute an assertion by a Mr. Yale of Dawson's Bookshop that most people ignore the kind of advice Worden had made to Thomas regarding the purchase of the book. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The letter is in good condition with folds and discoloration. The envelope is in fair condition with discoloration, some stains, and the opening tear. None
