Description

PERRY WORDEN TO WALTER P. TEMPLE, 30 DECEMBER 1922 A card (a), letter (b), and envelope (c) from Perry Worden to Walter P. Temple, 30 December 1922. The card and envelope are on a heavy cream-colored stock and the letter is on plain white stationery. Written as a condolence on the death of Laura G. Temple, the card contains a small handwritten four line poem to Mrs. Temple with a short note from Worden. The typed letter noted that Mrs. Worden wished to convey a reminiscence of Mrs. Temple to Mr. Temple and that Worden sent an article to the Alhambra Post on Mrs. Temple (see this article in the research files under Temple, Laura Gonzales.) With a half-fold; some small creases along the fold and edge; and light discoloration, the card is in good condition, as is the letter, which was folded into ninths; has a few creases; light discoloration; and a few small acid burns. The envelope is in fair condition with the opening tear at the top; a large acid burn along the left and top of the front and the left of the reverse; and bent corners.
