PERRY WORDEN TO WALTER P. TEMPLE, POSTMARKED 18 MAY 1925
Letter: A two-page, half-sheet typed letter (a), two-page typed letter (b) and envelope (c) from Perry Worden to Walter P. Temple, Sr., postmarked 18 November 1925. The half-sheet letter, in reference to letter b, asked Temple to send $100 as a gift to his cousin, Ellen Bancroft, for her sending original Temple family letters from the nineteenth century. Worden also mentioned the purchase of a letter for the Temple book. Letter b from Worden to Mrs. Bancroft mentioned the forthcoming gift of $100, told plans to send the two oldest Temple children to English or European schools, and other family matters. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The half-sheet letter are in fair condition with folds, creases, pin holes at upper left, and discoloration. The full-page letter is in good condition with folds and discoloration. The envelope is in poor condition with the original tear, many creases, and discoloration. NoneLexicon
