Description

PERRY WORDEN TO WALTER P. TEMPLE, SR., 16 DECEMBER 1926 Letter: A three-page typed letter (a) with envelope (b) from Perry Worden to Walter P. Temple, Sr., 16 December 1926. The letter concerned the publication of a five-volume history of California (by Hunt and Sanchez) and Worden's critique of the work in the absence of much material mentioning the Workman and Temple families. This stimulated Worden to write extensively of the need to continue on the family history, especially in light of the 1931 celebration of the sesquicentennial of the founding of Los Angeles. The letter is in good condition with folds, minor creases, and minor discoloration. The letter is in poor condition with much surface staining, the opening tear, tears, and pest holes. None
