PERRY WORDEN TO WALTER P. TEMPLE, SR., 28 JULY 1925.
Letter: A four-page typed letter (a) from Perry Worden to Walter P. Temple, Sr., with hand-addressed envelope (b) 28 July 1925. The letter outlined, in great detail, the precarious financial situation of Worden and his wife, as well as the various expenses Worden incurred for the Temple book, while the amount he was paid was considerably less than he was worth. Worden outlined what was needed in order to get the book done (patience and money, mainly). Reiterated his ability to put the Temple and Workman families on better ground in the historic community with the book. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The letter is in fair condition with folds, a few stains, some creases, and edge discoloration. The envelope is in poor condition with the opening tear, many creases, and discoloration. NoneLexicon
