Description

PERRY WORDEN TO WALTER P. TEMPLE, SR., NO DATE (PROBABLY LATE 1921) Letter: A two-page typed letter, without envelope, from Perry Worden to Walter P. Temple, Sr., no date (but probably late 1921, because of the mention of early research work on the family history.) Worden wrote of his work on the family history for which he was hired to complete articles begun by other writers: Johnstone Jones and Luther Ingersoll. Worden noted that Ingersoll had sent a package of items, except for photographs, that were collected for the articles. Worden explained his methods of work and desire to write a book to perpetuate the family name. Worden concluded that he would assist Temple in planning for a proposed European trip. The letter is in good condition with folds, some creases, and discoloration. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. None
