Temple, Sr., postmarked 10 November 1925. The letter concerned Worden's insertion in the third edition of the Harris Newmark autobiography, Sixty Years in Southern California, of a protest about changing historically significant place names in Los Angeles. In that case, the object was the proposal to change Temple Street to Civic Center Drive. See 96.35.111a-b for a similar letter to George Woodruff sent to Temple. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The letter is in fair condition with folds, stains at the upper center, pin holes at upper left and some discoloration. The envelope is in poor condition with the opening tear, paper clip stains on the back, some creases, and much discoloration. None
