Personal letter sent to a soldier in the Medical Corps, Balloon School in Arcadia, 18 July 1918. The letter is one sheet with a flap that becomes its own envelope when folded. The letter is sent from a woman in Monrovia and speaks of her coming to Los Angeles by car and sending a box of paper to the letter recipient. Written in ink, the letter is in good condition with minor creasing and a few tears at the flap, it also includes a postage stamp.
