A tin bottom for Peterson's Salted Mixed Nuts, ca. 1928. The tin is of a thin metal painted green on the outside and left plain inside and on the bottom, has a thin plain metal band along the bottom and a lip toward the top where the lid fastens. On two of the sides is "THE PETERSON NUT COMPANY / CLEVELAND, OHIO / LITHO IN U. S. A." In good condition, the piece has some tarnishing on the plain metal sections and a few scratches and chips on the painted sections.
