PHOTO ENVELOPE, ALHAMBRA CAMERA SHOP, FROM THOMAS W. TEMPLE II
Color: Black; Brown; White
A photograph envelope of Thomas W. Temple II from The Alhambra Camera Shop, ca. 1950s. The envelope was received into the collection containing four photographs (items 48.55 through .58 of this accession) of Walter P. Temple's funeral. In Temple's handwrirting on the front is a pencil inscription reading "Dadup's Funeral." Printed on this side, within a brown-bordered frame is the shop name address, and phone number. On the back is information for film developing, filled out for Temple, but consisting of a different set of images than the funeral photographs. A stamped number, possibly "511" or "611" is at the right and there is black tape on both sides at the bottom. With much creasing, darkening, soiling, and a few tears, the envelope is in fair condition.Lexicon
