A photograph envelope of Thomas W. Temple II from Webb's in San Jose, California, ca. 1926. The envelope's front has the company logo and information to the postal service about returning undeliverable mail as well as the motto "OUR BUSINESS IS DEVELOPING." At the bottom are lines for addressing, for listing a rural address and a post office box. In pencil at the upper right is Temple's inscription "Sta Clara" with the word "Reprints" crossed out under that. On the reverse is printed information about why negatives were failures, what to avoid when taking photographs, information on sending film by mail, charges for the order submitted in this envelope, and the item's identification number (51195.) With several missing sections, brittleness, dark discoloration, tears, loose elements, and creases, the condition is poor.Lexicon
