Description
A photograph of the Lucky Baldwin's Oakwood Resort Hotel, Arcadia, near the Santa Fe Railroad, Santa Anita, ca.1890. The three-story brick building has a colonnade, where people can be seen sitting on benches, chairs, or rocking chairs. Several types of trees are planted around the house, including three palms lined in the front. Above the colonnade is a covered balcony on the second floor. Two horse drawn carriages are seen in front. On the reverse is an ink inscription. With minor warping and discoloring, the object is in good condition overall.
