A photograph of two women in costumes, ca. 1900-1920s. The women may have been actresses in a Wizard of Oz stage production. One woman appears to be wearing a hair piece reminiscent of a lion's mane around her head and the other wears a dress with ruffled sleeves. Another copy of this image is present in the HM collection (Object ID:
2021.8.4.11). With moderate warping, moderate soiling, minor discoloration, a fold, minor tears, minor loss, crackling, and minor peeling, the object is in fair to poor condition overall.
