Description

"Pictorial California," June 1929 (Vol. 4, No. 7,) published by Eugene Swarzwald, Los Angeles. The rotogravure publication has images from the Switzer's Camp in the San Gabriel Mountains, Carmel, Lake Arrowhead, Yosemite, the coast of San Diego County, southern California beaches, Pasadena, a pageant at San Bernardino called "The First Californians," the house of actor Richard Arlen, and more. A pasted-down greeting at the front from the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce offers the issue to a library for what appears to be an organization having a convention in the city during the year. With the wrappers detached, and some soiling, creases, a horizontal fold and edge rubbing and chipping, the condition is poor.
