Description

"PICTORIAL CALIFORNIA" BOUND VOLUME, OCTOBER 1928-SEPTEMBER 1929 Color: Brown A bound volume of the October 1928 through September 1929 issues of "Pictorial California," published by Eugene Swarzwald, Los Angeles. The cover is a light brown false leather with the periodical's title and logo on the front cover. The items are bound so that the earliest title is at the back and the latest at the front, which is not usual for bound publications. The magazine generally consists of a series of photographs around a locale or event in the state with short captions as the only text. The item is in good condition with the magazines only having slight darkening and a few small tears and mustiness on some pages, while the covers have corner rubbing, acid burns to flysheets, spine brittleness, creases and dents to the corners, surface soiling, slight discoloration on the front, mainly through fading of printing, looseness of the spine and some loss of material there, stains on the back, and tears along the spine.
