Description

Color: Gray; Pink A pink and gray colored silk ribbon, probably as an accessory to a dress that appears not to be extant, ca. 1900. The item has pink edging throughout, except for one element of the bow, which is all pink. The rest of the piece is a gray color. Straps extend out from the left and right sides of the bow, with the left having two metal hole and the right having the corresponding clasps. The back of the straps is some kind of coarse fabric, rather than silk. It is assumed this came from a matching dress, though no such item came with this accession. Except for major wrinkling and creases and a few loose threads, the artifact is in good condition, with no other signs of wear or damage.
