A black and white photograph portrait of Pio Pico, ca. 1880. The former Governor of California is seated in a chair with fabric draped table on his left and his hat resting on top of the table. A carpet with a stylized circular floral design is on the floor. Pico is dressed in a dark suit with white shirt and dark tie and shoes. This image has an blacked-out square frame within which the oval photograph is set. This is a duplicate of an image on exhibit in the foyer of the Pio Pico Gallery and is in fair condition with creases; curling; and pin holes in the corners.
