Description

A program from The First Methodist Episcopal Church, Los Angeles, 24 February 1918. The item contains information about the services of the day and general church information. Pasted on the rear is a membership covenant and application blank for The Church of the Open Door, Bible Institute of Los Angeles (BIOLA), ca. 1918, containing the thirteen covenant items and the application. Also pasted in are three tickets for lectures, probably in 1918, by evangelists, two of which were at the Bible Institute Auditorium and the third, concerning a survivor's account of the Armenian-Turkish conflict, at Temple Auditorium. With much soiling and edge tears to the program and less wear to the application and tickets, the overall condition is poor.
