A hand-pressed matted tile called Pomegranates Plaque, made in the Batchelder style and manufactured by Diana Watson's Native Tile & Ceramics, 2001. At the top left, top right, and bottom right corners are pomegranates. Vines and leaves are intertwined between the fruit. Around the design is a raised border. The tile is tan except for the green in the design's background. Stamped in the clay on the center of the back is "NATIVE / TILE & CERAMICS." A white label at the bottom has the name and address of the manufacturer. The manufacturer's catalog number for the tile is R452. The object is in mint condition.Lexicon
