Description
A studio full-length portrait of a small boy, Payne, Stanton and Company (Elite Gallery,) Los Angeles, 1880s. The image shows the approximately three-year old child wearing a white dress, black leggings and black hightop laced boots. He sits in a chair, over which has been draped an animal rug. There is a faded inscription at the bottom, including what seems to be a first name "George," but the rest is unreadable. The overall condition is good.
