Photo mounted on board, originally had tissue covering attached along top edge. Man in full military outfit posed sitting, resting crossed arms on a cushion and holding a flower in his right hand. The number 12 emblazoned on both lapels and hat signify which regiment he belonged to. Man is most likely a relative of Jean Allec, from Allec's hometown of Poligny. Photo is adhered around edges and raised in the middle. Moderate surface soiling, minor abrasion to edges; in overall good condition.
