He wears a dark striped three-piece suit with a high-buttoned jacket, and a white shirt, and has a pocket watch on his vest. His wife stands to his left with her right hand on his shoulder. She wears a colored dress with floral appliques and much decorative stitching. Her white veil trails on an animal skin rug on the floor and she has a floral headdress. In her left hand she holds a fan. There is some light soiling and stains on the reverse, but the general condition is good.
