Description

PORTRAIT OF ACTRESS LILA LEE TIPPED INTO "PHOTOPLAY," MAY 1929 Color: Black; Blue; Red; Orange A clipping found tipped into "Photoplay," May 1929 issue. There is a colored image of actress Lila Lee dressed in a kimono and, as the caption, indicates, trying to "look Oriental." On the reverse are portions of advertisements, but it appears that the item did not come from the magazine in which it was found, though it does seem to be from the same period, because there is a reference to a 1930 model car in one ad. With creases at the bottom, yellowing, and small tears at the bottom and bottom right, the condition is good.
