Color: Black; White
A reproduction black and white photograph of a portrait of Maria Boyle Workman, ca. 1890. The view is of Mrs. Workman's head and shoulder area and she is turned to her left and away from the camera. She wears a light-colored dress with a collar and shoulder pieces made of a dark fabric, probably velvet. The dress appears highly ornamented, though it is difficult to discern details. At the front of the collar a brooch is affixed. Her hair is pulled up into as bun at the top and there seems to be a hair comb in the bun. Mrs. Workman was the wife of William H. Workman and the photograph may have been taken about the time of 2000.217.1.4. As a newly produced photograph, the artifact is in mint condition.
