A portrait of seven men and a dog in front of a rustic wood cabin, by Cohen and Rough, Photographers of Alhambra, California, ca. 1880s. The view shows the men in various stages of formal dress, all standing but one, while the dog is seated on a rocking chair. The cabin is a single room with one door, a couple of small windows, a single gable shingled roof, and raised off the ground. The names of the photographers are at the bottom and information on duplicates and the negative number are on the reverse. With a tape-repaired crease or tear at the lower left, soiling, stains, and edge rubbing, the condition is fair.
