Description
Press photo, a couple walking through flooded street, Los Angeles, April 1926. A man dressed in a suit, tie, and hat with pants rolled up and barefoot is walking in the middle of a completely flooded street while carrying a woman in his arms. The woman wears a long fur lined coat, hat, and high heeled shoes. The water has risen to cover half of car tires and most of the sidewalk. A typed description pasted on the reverse claims the heaviest rain in twenty three years. It is in fair condition, tears and creases at top edge.
