Press photo, Aimee Semple McPherson, Los Angeles, 30 June 1926. McPherson, her mother, Minnie Kennedy, and several other men are greeting the crowds as they stand in a stopped train caboose. Below, beside the train stand a crowd of men in hats next to a large arrangement of flowers. People lean out of the same train car windows to see McPherson and her exuberant expression. Dated in June 1926, this scene is most likely taken as part of her return to Los Angles after the kidnapping incident. Typed description on reverse. In good condition with moderate warping, minor discoloration, paper adhered to photo surface at bottom left, minor scratches.
