Description
Press photo, babies in perambulators with radio in sleeping contest, Los Angeles, August 1929. A row of baby carriages of varying designs with the addition of a radio set at the front or rear and mothers dressed in dresses and hats in the middle of an open grass area. Partial view of a row of houses and trees in the background. Each baby serves as a judge for broadcasted radio storytelling contest in which the winning station puts the baby to sleep first. Typed description on reverse. In good condition with minor fading and warping.
