Description
Press photo, family of C. Ivy Toms, Los Angeles, date stamped 24 February 1928. The Acme News Pictures image shows the parents and step-sister of Toms, who was killed by William Edward Hickman, who was infamous as the murderer of Marion Parker, and Welby Hunt during a robbery. With a pasted-down caption, pencil inscriptions and stamps on the reverse, a few small creases, a dented corner and some stains and soiling, the overall condition is good.
