Press photo of a dancer in costume, Los Angeles, 1 July 1926. Amelia Allen, a dancer is wearing different costumes in the two separate costumes. To the left, Allen wears a turban and Arabian themed top and mini skirt, exposing her midriff. To the right, she wears a full skirted, sleeveless dress. The theatre audience was asked to vote on which they preferred, most choosing the more conservative costume on the right. The photograph is in good condition with minor creases and loss at top right, with discoloration.
