Description

Color: Black; White The price list from the "Floral Parade Book," a catalog issued by Earl W. Gasthoff Company, 1920s. The cover has the company name and location at the top with a listing of the price for floral sheeting taking up most of the sheet. At the bottom are instructions for use of the sheeting and amount needed for various sized cars. A statement of terms and prices is at the bottom. Prices for catalog items are contained on the inner two pages and are listed by the float numbers, though there are breakdowns for components, usually the amount of beauty sheets, the type and number of flowers, and the box of decorating pins. Options include festoons, fringe, floral sprays and other products. Several boxes remind users to check page 8 of the catalog for lettering options. Listings of individual flowers, organizational emblems, and supplies is at the last column on page three, providing model number, item name, and prices for each, dozen, gross and in, two cases, a larger quantity designated as "Per M." A statement at the bottom of these pages is that a sketch and instructions for building float frameworks will be sent if requested. The back cover has an advertisement, with a black and white photograph of a sample at the center, for beauty sheeting for booths and window displays. Instructions on how to build, how to order, and the cost is at the bottom. Other than a half-fold and some creases, the document is in good condition.
