PROBABLE EVENT FOR LOS ANGELES SESQUICENTENNIAL
Color: Black; White
A photograph of what was probably an event for the Los Angeles sesquicentennial, September 1931. A group of persons is sitting on benches, seemingly around a stage or platform. Near the center, a man is turned toward the camera and this may be Walter P. Temple, who was on a honorary committee for the event, which also had Thomas W. Temple as an active committee member. In the background are some palm trees and a large business building, identifiable as part of the civic center, possibly the federal building. On the lower left corner of the reverse is the stamped number "987." With light discoloration, surface soiling, and dented corners, the object is in good overall condition.
