Description
A volume of the proceedings of the conventions held by the Order of the Eastern Star, Grand Lodge of California, 1873-1879. The proceedings generally contain reports from the Grand Lodge and the individual lodges, which after 1876, included #21, the Acacia Lodge of Los Angeles County and provided a list of officers and members. One member of the Los Angeles County lodge was Frederick Lambourn, former tutor and ranch foreman for William Workman. As ex-library, there are stamps, labels, and inscriptions, but the boards have minor edge wear and soiling and the pages are tight and clean, so the condition is good.
