Description

Program for services at First Baptist Church, Los Angeles, 7 March 1926. The front page has an image of the proposed new church, to be built at Eighth, Westmoreland and Leeward streets and which stands today with the old site at 1728 West Sixth, now a retail area. Below is a poem from A.C. Cowperthwaite from 1902. Inside is the order of worship for the day's services, as well as activities for the following week and on the back page are "Notes of Interest." Tipped in is a styped list of new members during the prior month listed alphabetically with their addresses and phone numbers. With folds, stains, soiling, small tears and rubbing, the condition is fair.
