A black and white photograph of the proposed hospital site looking north, 3 February 1977. A dirt field covers the bottom portion of the image where, across the center, concrete piping is stacked vertically and horizontally. In the foregound is a road with two mounds of dirt on either side. Construction vehicles are at the end of the field to the left and center. To the far right are more pipes just in front of a parking lot. The lightly snow-capped San Gabriel Mountains are in the distance behind a row of commercial buildings and factories. On the far right behind the raised ballast of the railroad tracks is a portion of the Stafford Mill. A label crediting Duane C. Alan as the photographer is located on the back bottom right corner. Two copies of this image are in the collection and are in good condition.
