Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of the proposed hospital site looking northeast, 3 February 1977. The bottom half of the image is a dirt lot with a road running across the foreground (from the north to the east.) On the front left and center are several trees, some planted and others in wood bases. Two reinforced concrete blocks are near the center on either side of the road running north. Throughout the area are tire tracks and surveyor's markers. In the right background are construction vehicles and automobiles with the flat commercial building of "K-Mart" in the back. Across the center are trees and, in the background, a hill populated with homes. On the far left, and behind the Hacienda Boulevard train overpass, is the Bank of America and the Stafford Mill, with the snow-capped San Gabriel Mountains in the far background. A label on the back bottom right corner credits Duane C. Alan with the photography and provides his business information. Two identical images are in the collection and are in good condition.
